Pharmacists, pharmacy technicians and students (registrants) must keep their online profile up to date while registered with the College. Any required training and certifications must also be kept current and reflected in the online profile.

There are two types of registration failures addressed by the College through letters of caution kept on a registrant’s file and penalties according to the type of issue. They are:

Type 1: Failure to Update Credentials in Online Profile  Penalty: $100 (+HST)

  • These occur when a registrant holds or has updated valid certification or training but has not updated their online profile.

 Type 2: Certification Non-Compliance (Professional Misconduct)   Penalty: $1,000 (+HST)

  • These involve more serious failures, such as practising without mandatory certifications (e.g., First Aid and CPR, liability insurance or other mandatory training). This can directly impact the validity of a licence and the ability to practise in New Brunswick.

All registrants must be compliant with the requirements of the official register to which they are named. Compliance categories include, but are not limited to, those listed below.
