Licensure for new graduates in New Brunswick

06/17/2025

To pursue licensure as a pharmacist in New Brunswick, a completed application package submitted in the required format must be sent to the College. The application process for registration as a pharmacist can be found online.

All documents that must be notarized or original versions will not be accepted through fax or email. The original documents can be mailed to the office of the College or dropped off in person.

The College wishes to remind new pharmacist graduate applicants of the importance of all pieces of the application being provided in the proper format.

For those looking to confirm licensure within 24-48 hours following the release of positive PEBC results on July 7, 2025, please ensure the application package, including payment and supporting documents (minus PEBC results), are submitted by June 30, 2025. This will afford the College the opportunity to pre-review the file. Please note this is NOT a mandatory deadline.

For confidentiality reasons, questions regarding content or the status of a file can only be provided directly to the applicant.

Apprenticeship Agreement Requirement

All students and preceptors are responsible for ensuring that an apprenticeship agreement is submitted, signed, and approved before the start of any placement, rotation, or time service.

It is the student’s responsibility to initiate the agreement. It is the preceptor’s responsibility to confirm the agreement via the automated form and ensure it has been approved by the College (approval is confirmed via email to the student).

Students and preceptors must verify that a College-approved apprenticeship agreement is in place before any training or time service begins.

Failure to complete the agreement before time service begins will result in a non-compliance caution letter.
