New Brunswick Pharmacy Award nominations
The New Brunswick College of Pharmacists is currently accepting award nominations across six different categories. All pharmacy professionals are encouraged to promote and participate in the awards process. Please note that self-nominations are not permitted.
The nomination form can be found online and must be submitted to the attention of the Awards Committee before the March 31 deadline. Any nominations received after that date will be held for the proceeding year. Each award nomination must include a completed form signed by at least one nominator; at least one letter of reference; and background documentation to support the nomination.
Scholarship, bursary applications
The New Brunswick College of Pharmacists is now accepting applications for the J. Victor Robichaud Scholarship. J. Victor Robichaud was instrumental in elevating the standard of pharmacy practice in New Brunswick. He was an Honorary Life member of the College after being in practice for more than 50 years and served as Registrar for 25 years.
Interested applicants for this award must submit a completed application form and send it to the attention of the NB College of Pharmacists’ Awards Committee no later than March 31 of their second year in an approved pharmacy education program. The application must be accompanied by an essay that describes how the pharmacist student envisions their role in the community once they have become a pharmacist. Additionally, the New Brunswick College of Pharmacists also offers a bursary to students whose primary residence is New Brunswick. Up to three pharmacist student awards, each valued at $1,000 are available per year for eligible students who have completed at least one year at an approved institution. Up to two pharmacy technician student awards, each valued at $500, are also available each year to eligible students. Award criteria, as well as the application form, is available online. The deadline for applications is March 31.
